Upgrade the production capacity to 350,000 tons per year within the existing factory. This meant increasing the capacity of the milling and mixing line and constructing a fourth press line. The only way to achieve this was by adding a 15-meter rooftop extension, bringing the total building height to 55 meters. Additionally, emission values had to be reduced to comply with local regulations. The production line could only be shut down for eight days, requiring rapid action and 24/7 assembly.

We upgraded the milling and mixing line to the latest technological standards, increasing production capacity by approximately 15%, reaching 350,000 tons per year. This capacity can now be achieved within a six-day workweek.

Thanks to this upgrade, Coppens now produces even higher-quality animal feed, allowing them to expand their market reach.

With the entire production capacity centralized in a single location, production is now managed more efficiently.

To meet legal odor emission regulations, a 10-meter chimney was installed, extending beyond the 55-meter building height.

During the implementation of these upgrades, the production process was only halted for a minimal percentage of the time, ensuring that production disruptions were kept to an absolute minimum.
